Irish Soda Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. sugar
3/4 c. raisins
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Make a hollow in center of flour and pour in 1 cup buttermilk. Mix well, then add 1/2 cup buttermilk.
Knead the dough lightly on a floured board until smooth and shape into a round loaf. Place on greased cookie sheet.
With a knife, cut a cross design on the top of the loaf.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
