Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 2/3 c. granulated sugar
    2/3 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    2 c. canned pumpkin
    2/3 c. water
    3 1/3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    2/3 c. dates, cut up
    2/3 c. chopped nuts
    2/3 c. raisins
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs, pumpkin and water.
    Mix well.
    Add sifted dry ingredients; blend well.
    Stir in dates, nuts and raisins.
    Pour into greased and floured loaf tins.
    Makes 2 to 3 loaves depending on size of tins.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 40 minutes.
