M&M'S Plain Chocolate Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 (3/4 lb.) pkg. plain M&M's
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Preparation

Combine first 5 ingredients and cream thoroughly.
Sift together dry ingredients and gradually add to creamed mixture; mix well.
Stir in 1/2 cup M&M's.
Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet.
Decorate with remaining M&M's.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
Yield:
approximately 6 dozen cookies.
