Orange Cranberry Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. plain flour
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/3 c. margarine
1 tsp. grated orange peel
3/4 c. orange juice
1 egg, beaten
1 c. chopped cranberries
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
confectioners sugar
Preparation

Combine dry ingredients in mixing bowl.
Cut in margarine until mixture resembles coarse meal.
Combine orange peel, orange juice and beaten egg.
Add to flour mixture.
Stir until dry ingredients are moistened.
Mix in cranberries and walnuts.
Turn into 3 (5 3/4 x 3 1/4 x 2 1/4-inch) loaf pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes. Cool in pans for 10 minutes.
Sprinkle tops with confectioners sugar.
