Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. white sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. thick sour milk (3/4 c. sour cream and 1/4 c. milk)
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon
3 1/2 c. flour

Preparation

Cream together sugar and shortening.
Mix in order listed.
Let stand in refrigerator to chill.
Take out in small amounts.
Use as drop cookies.
Frost with vanilla frosting.
