Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cooking oil
    4 eggs
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    4 c. sifted flour (not self-rising)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    3/4 c. buttermilk with 1 Tbsp. baking soda added
    6 ripe bananas
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    (If using glass pan, reduce temperature to 325\u00b0.)
    Flour and grease pans.
    Sift flour and spices together. Beat eggs and add to sugar and oil.
    Add buttermilk and vanilla. Add flour and mashed bananas to mixture, starting and finishing with flour.
    Bake for 1 hour or until golden brown.
    Mixture makes 2 loaves of bread.
