Mother'S Sweetheart Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. margarine or butter
2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. old-fashioned oats (uncooked)
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Preparation

Beat together butter and cream cheese until creamy. Add sugar and vanilla. Beat again. Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Add to creamy mixture. Stir in oats and nuts. Mix well. Chill overnight.
