Jiffy Peanut Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chunk-style peanut butter
    1 (2 layer size) yellow cake mix
    2 Tbsp. water
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
Preparation
    In large mixer bowl cut peanut butter and shortening into dry cake mix using low speed of electric mixer.
    Add eggs and water, mix well to form dough.
    Using 1 tablespoon for each cookie, shape into 1 1/2-inch balls.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet and flatten each with a fork.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Cool thoroughly. Makes approximately 4 1/2 dozen.
