One Loaf Bread(May Be Doubled.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. warm water
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    3 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. soft shortening
    2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add shortening, salt, sugar and 1/2 the flour. Beat until smooth. Add remaining flour and knead (you can do this in the bowl). Let rise in warm place until double (about an hour). Knead and let rest for 10 minutes. Put in bread pan and let rise again. Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes, then lower heat to 325\u00b0 for 25 minutes or until brown.
