3/4 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. Crisco shortening
1 1/4 c. packed light brown sugar
3 Tbsp. milk
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 3/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. soda
Preparation

Combine peanut butter, Crisco, sugar, milk and vanilla.
Beat until creamy at medium speed.
Add egg; beat until blended.
Add dry ingredients on low speed.
Drop by teaspoonfuls or flatten with crisscross pattern with fork dipped in sugar.
Bake in 375\u00b0 oven for 7 to 8 minutes or until cookie cracks.
Makes 3 dozen cookies.
