Ingredients

2 egg whites
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Beat egg whites and salt until very stiff.
This takes a long time.
When stiff, add the sugar gradually to the egg whites and salt.
Fold chocolate chips into meringue.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
Place in oven and turn off heat.
Leave in oven until oven is cool; basically forget about them.
Do not open to peek.
Makes 3 dozen.
