Strawberry Pecan Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
    2 c. fresh sliced strawberries
    1/4 c. coconut (optional)
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients together.
    In separate bowl mix the remaining ingredients except strawberries and add to dry ingredients.
    Stir thoroughly (batter is very thick).
    Put some batter on bottom of greased 9-inch loaf pan.
    Layer sliced berries; add more batter then more strawberries.
    Continue to layer, finishing with batter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Cool in pan for at least 10 minutes, then turn on rack.
