Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    8 to 10 Tbsp. sour milk
    1/2 cup shortening
    2 cups sugar
    2 eggs
    pinch of salt
    3 cups plain flour
    3 large ripe bananas, mashed
    1/2 cup chopped nuts
Preparation
    Combine milk, soda and set aside. Cream shortening and sugar. Beat eggs. Add milk mixture and remaining ingredients. Bake in 2 greased and floured loaf pans at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour.
