Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. butter or margarine
3 c. sugar
3 c. plus 5 Tbsp. flour (plain)
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. shortening
5 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. orange or lemon extract
Preparation

Cream butter, shortening and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add flour and milk alternately. Add flavorings and baking powder.
Beat well.
Bake in tube pan for 1 hour and 35 minutes at 300\u00b0.
Do not preheat oven.
