Monkey Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening, melted
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1/3 c. sugar
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/2 c. lukewarm water
    1 egg
    3 c. flour
    1 stick butter
Preparation
    Combine shortening, boiling water, sugar and salt.
    Let cool. Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.
    Beat egg and add to yeast mixture.
    Pour yeast mixture into shortening mixture.
    Add flour and mix thoroughly.
    Cover and let rise until doubled (approximately 1 hour).
    Punch dough down and knead.
    Roll out on a lightly floured surface until the dough is approximately 1/4-inch thick.
    Cut into triangular shapes approximately 1-inch. Dip each piece in melted butter.
    Drop into greased Bundt pan. Let rise approximately 1 hour in warm place.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Cool about 5 minutes.
    Turn out onto a plate.
