Grandma'S Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. flavoring (we like lemon)
    2 eggs
    4 or 5 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together with flour, about four or five cups.
    Roll on floured board and cut into shapes.
    (Don't roll too thin or it will be crispy.)
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for ten to twelve minutes (don't overbake or they will be crispy).
