Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. peanut butter
3 c. quick oats
3 Tbsp. cocoa
pinch of salt
1/4 lb. oleo or butter
Preparation

Combine sugar, milk, butter and cocoa.
Bring to a full boil. Boil for 1 minute; time accurately.
Add salt and vanilla.
Remove from heat.
Blend in peanut butter and oats.
Mix well.
Drop by spoonfuls or equal scoops on wax paper.
Cool until firm, 12 to 15 minutes.
