Applesauce Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour (sifted)
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. coarsely chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)
    1 egg, well beaten
    1 c. medium thick smooth unsweetened applesauce
    1/4 c. Mazola oil
Preparation
    Mix sifted dry ingredients and nuts together.
    Combine egg, applesauce and oil.
    Add to dry ingredients and stir just until blended.
    Pour into a 9-inch greased loaf pan.
    Bake in a moderate oven at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
