Viscotti(Italian Cookies) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 c. sugar
    10 c. flour
    11 tsp. baking powder
    pinch of salt
    3/4 c. Crisco (approximately 1 1/2 c.)
    10 to 12 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix
    dry
    ingredients
    and
    make
    a well in the center. Beat eggs, Crisco and vanilla; pour into the dry ingredients. Knead this mixture until the dough is well blended, as if for bread dough.
    Shape cookies in twists and circles.
