Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. coarsely chopped nuts
    1/3 c. shortening
    2/3 c. sugar
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 c. ripe bananas
Preparation
    Sift flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda together. Beat shortening until fluffy.
    Add eggs; beat well.
    Add flour-nut mixture with mashed bananas, small amount at a time; beat well. Turn into greased pan and bake in medium oven, at 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour and 10 minutes, or until done.
    Makes 1 loaf.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for a glass pan.
