Lemon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. shortening (1/4 c.)
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 Tbsp. grated lemon peel
    1 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs and lemon peel.
    Add mixed dry ingredients, alternating with milk.
    Fold in nuts.
    Bake in loaf pan about 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    After bread has cooled 15 minutes, spoon on glaze.
    Remove from pan after 10 additional minutes.
