Fluffy Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 c. corn meal
    1 Tbsp. margarine or butter, softened
    3 eggs, separated
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    margarine or butter
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Stir boiling water into corn meal; continue stirring until mixture is lukewarm.
    Blend in 1 tablespoon margarine and the egg yolks.
    Stir in buttermilk, salt, sugar, baking powder and baking soda.
    Beat egg whites just until soft peaks form.
    Fold into batter.
    Pour into greased 2-quart casserole.
    Bake until knife inserted near center comes out clean.
