Ingredients

1 stick margarine
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. white granulated sugar
2 slightly beaten egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. or less salt
1 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 1/2 c. raisins
Preparation

Cream margarine.
Add sugar until fluffy; add egg whites and vanilla.
Mix well.
Stir in flour, soda and salt together.
Blend well.
Add oatmeal, raisins and nuts; again mix well.
Bake on lightly greased cookie sheets for 10 minutes or until lightly brown at 375\u00b0.
