Cherry Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    10 oz. jar cherries, drained and chopped
    1/2 c. butter
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. walnuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream sugar, butter and eggs.
    Sift dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture with buttermilk.
    Beat until blended. Stir in nuts, cherries and vanilla.
    Pour batter into greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 to 60 minutes.
    Makes 1 loaf.
