Ingredients

2/3 c. Crisco
1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 Tbsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1/3 c. cocoa
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Combine Crisco, brown sugar, water and vanilla in large bowl.
Beat eggs into mixture.
Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
Mix into creamed mixture.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 7 to 9 minutes.
Cookies will be soft and moist; do not overbake.
Cool on baking sheet for at least 2 minutes.
