Italian Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken, cut up
    1/4 c. cooking oil
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder or 1 clove garlic, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1 c. tomatoes
    1/2 c. sherry cooking wine
    1/2 c. water
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
Preparation
    In large skillet saute
    onions and green pepper in oil. Add chicken and seasoning;
    add
    tomatoes
    and
    wine.
    Cook 30 minutes over medium heat.
    Add
    soup
    and
    cook for 30 minutes more or until tender.
    Cover while cooking.
