Green Tomato Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 10 medium green tomatoes, coarsely chopped
    2/3 c. raisins
    2/3 c. boiling water
    2/3 c. vegetable shortening
    2 2/3 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    3 1/3 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
    2/3 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In blender, puree tomatoes until smooth.
    Should have 2 cups.
    Soak raisins in boiling water. Cool.
    Cream shortening and sugar until fluffy.
    Add eggs, tomato pulp and raisins and soaking water.
    Beat well.
