Jule Kage(Christmas Bread) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. warm water
1 pkg. dry yeast
3/4 c. lukewarm milk, scalded
1/2 c. sugar
3 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cardamon seed
1 egg
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. cut citron
3 1/2 c. sifted flour
Preparation

In mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water.
Stir in rest of ingredients except half of flour.
Mix until smooth.
Add rest of flour until easy to handle.
Turn on floured board.
Knead until smooth.
In greased bowl, let rise until double.
Punch down and let rise again.
Shape into round loaf.
Place in greased 9-inch cake pan.
Cover.
Let rise until double.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
