Brown Sugar Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 stick butter
    1 lb. light brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. each: maple and vanilla flavoring
    5 whole eggs
    3 c. sifted plain flour
    1 c. evaporated milk
Preparation
    Cream shortening and butter.
    Add brown sugar and blend.
    Add flavorings and eggs.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Sift flour, salt and baking powder together.
    Add alternately with milk.
    Beat until smooth. Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Use a tube pan.
