Lemon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. margarine
    4 eggs, separated, divided use
    1 1/4 c. milk
    3 1/4 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. finely chopped pecans
    grated zest of 2 lemons
    juice of 2 lemons
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Beat well 2 cups sugar and margarine. Add and beat well the egg yolks. Add alternately sifted flour, salt and baking powder with milk. Then add pecans and lemon zest.\tFold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
