Banana Tart - cooking recipe
Ingredients

enough pastry to line 8 or 9-inch pie plate and lattice cover (optional)*
3 or 4 bananas
raspberry or strawberry jam
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
Line pie plate with pastry.
Spread thinly with jam.
Slice bananas and place in plate between layers of jam.
*Make lattice cover by cutting rolled pastry into thin strips and crisscrossing over filling, if desired.
Bake 15 minutes or until the pastry is brown.
Serve hot or cold with hot custard sauce or cream.
