Sesame-Cheddar Bread - cooking recipe

2 c. all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. butter or oleo
6 oz. (1 1/2 c.) shredded sharp cheese
1 1/2 tsp. oregano
1 c. milk
sesame seed
Preparation

In mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Blend well; cut in butter until it resembles coarse meal.
Stir in cheese and oregano.
In small bowl, blend milk and egg; add to flour mixture and stir until moistened.
Spread in greased 9-inch square pan.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes and cut into slices (make muffins, bake at 15 to 20 minutes).
