Ingredients

1 c butter
1 1/2 c powdered sugar
1/4 t butter extract
1/4 t almond extract
1 t vanilla
1 egg
2 1/2 c flour
1 t baking soda
1 t cream of tartar
1/4 t salt
Preparation

Cream butter, powdered sugar, extracts.
Beat in egg. In separate bowl, combine flour, soda, cream of tartar and salt. Gradually add to creamed mixture.
Chill well.
Roll out and cut in shapes.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375 F for 6-8 minutes or until very lightly brown. (They burn easily).
