Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. oleo (2 sticks)
    3 pkg. (3 oz.) cream cheese
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, beaten
    fruit preserves
Preparation
    In mixing bowl, cream together oleo and cream cheese until fluffy; set aside.
    Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
    Gradually blend into creamed mixture.
    Add eggs, mixing to form stiff dough.
    Chill at least 2 hours.
    When dough is chilled, roll and cut into size big and thick enough for thumbprint.
    Fill thumbprint with preserves.
    Bake in 375\u00b0 oven for about 15 minutes or until browned.
