Apricot Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    2 tsp. soda
    1 lb. dried chopped apricots
    2 c. water
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. Crisco or margarine
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    2 eggs, beaten
    chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Sift flour and soda together; set aside.
    Combine remaining ingredients except for the eggs and cook in saucepan for 5 minutes; cool.
    Add eggs and flour mixture to cooled fruit mixture.
    Bake in 2 greased loaf pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
