Ingredients

2 egg whites (at room temperature)
2 c. confectioners sugar
1 tsp. cider vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. pecan halves
Preparation

Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
Grease cookie sheet.
In small bowl with mixer at high speed, beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Beating at high speed, gradually sprinkle in sugar, a few tablespoons at a time.
Beat until sugar is completely dissolved. (Whites should stand in stiff peaks.)
Do not scrape sides of bowl during beating.
Beat in vinegar and vanilla.
Fold in pecan halves.
