Bishop Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 egg
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Mix flour, salt, brown sugar, cinnamon and shortening.
    Save 1/4 cup of mixture. Add baking powder, eggs, soda and buttermilk; pour in greased loaf pan. Sprinkle 1/4 cup crumbs. Pat smooth. Bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
