Raisin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. baking powder
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    3/4 c. raisins or dates
    1/2 c. milk
    1 egg, beaten
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients.
    Cut in shortening.
    Add fruit to dry ingredients.
    Add beaten egg to milk.
    Combine mixture.
    Shape into loaf.
    Put into greased bread pans.
    Let stand for 15 minutes.
    Bake 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
