Peanut Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening or butter
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    3/4 c. white sugar
    1 c. peanut butter
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream shortening, adding ingredients in order given, blending well after each addition.
    Roll into 1-inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Flatten with a fork dipped in flour, making a crisscross, and bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Cool on rack before storing in tightly covered can.
