Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. milk
    1 c. cornmeal
    2 Tbsp. butter
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Place milk in double boiler; heat to scalding.
    Slowly add cornmeal and whip with beater until smooth.
    Add butter and cook for 20 minutes.
    Separate eggs.
    Add beaten yolks and baking powder to mixture.
    Beat egg whites until they peak; fold in. Pour into well-greased baking dish and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    (Too rich for high cholesterol.)
