Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening (Crisco)
    2 c. white sugar
    6 ripe bananas, mashed (5 if real large)
    4 whole eggs, one at a time
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. rolled black walnuts or pecans
    2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar together until fluffy.
    Add bananas and eggs, one at a time.
    Mix well.
    Sift flour with salt and baking soda and add to banana mixture.
    Add nuts.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for an hour in a tube pan or two 9 x 5-inch loaf pans.
    Line bottoms of pans with waxed paper.
