Apricot-Banana Mold - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (17 oz.) can apricot halves
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime flavor gelatin
    1 banana, peeled and sliced
    whipped topping (optional)
Preparation
    Drain apricots, measuring liquid (syrup).
    Add water to syrup to make 3/4 cup liquid.
    Heat 1 cup water to boiling in glass bowl in microwave (2 to 3 minutes).
    Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Stir in liquid.
    Chill until slightly thickened.
    Mix apricots and banana into thickened gelatin.
    Turn into 4-cup mold or serving bowl.
    Chill until firm.
