Ingredients

3/4 c. cooking oil
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. molasses
1/2 tsp. ginger
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
Preparation

Combine oil, sugar, egg and molasses.
In a separate bowl, mix together the remaining dry ingredients.
Add dry ingredients to first mixture and mix thoroughly.
