Mexican Wedding Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft butter (can be part shortening)
    1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sifted flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 or 2 c. finely chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix thoroughly first 3 ingredients. Add flour and salt mixing well, then add nuts. Chill dough. Roll into 1 inch balls, place on ungreased cookie sheet, bake until set (but not brown) at 400\u00b0 for 10-12 minutes. While still warm, roll in powdered sugar. Let cool, then roll in powdered sugar again. Makes 4 dozen, 1 inch cookies.
