Cranberry Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. raw cranberries
    1 orange, juice and rind
    1 Tbsp. Wesson oil
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Slice berries in 3 or 4 slices. Grate rind of orange to use in bread and squeeze out juice.
    Put juice in a cup with the oil and add enough boiling water to make 3/4 cup of liquid.
    Combine with dry ingredients and beaten egg. Add cranberries and nuts, put in greased and floured loaf pan and bake for about 1 hour in 325\u00b0 oven.
    When cool, put in refrigerator wrapped in foil until ready to serve.
