Orange Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 oranges
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. water
3 c. flour
5 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Wash and peel oranges.
Using just the orange part, grind finely and place in double boiler with the sugar and water.
Cook until thick like jam.
Stir constantly.
Cool.
Stir in egg that has been beaten and the milk.
Add rest of ingredients.
Mix and put in bread pans.
Makes 1 or 2 loaves, depending on size of pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until done in middle using toothpick testing method.
