Crispy Candy Bar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. Karo syrup
    1 c. peanut butter
    6 c. crisp rice cereal
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch pieces
Preparation
    Bring sugar, syrup and peanut butter to a boil.
    Remove from heat and mix in crisp rice cereal.
    Press into greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Melt together chocolate and butterscotch pieces. Spread over cookies.
    Cool.
    Cut into bars.
    Makes 54 cookies.
