Porcupine Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. Campbell's tomato soup
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/4 c. uncooked rice
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/4 c. minced onion
    2 Tbsp. minced parsley and garlic powder
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Shape all ingredients into balls, about 1 1/2 inches in diameter (makes about 16).
    Brown in 2 tablespoons shortening. Blend in rest of soup with 1 can of water.
    Simmer for about 40 minutes, or until rice is tender.
    Stir now and then.
    After meat is brown, drain grease and serve.
