Date Nut Bread #2 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dates, chopped (16 oz.)
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. nuts
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. boiling water
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    2 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix first 5 ingredients in a bowl.
    When cool, add sugar, egg and flour.
    Mix well.
    Bake in an 8 x 8-inch pan greased and lined with brown paper.
    Bake for 1 hour at 325\u00b0.
