Strawberry Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. chopped strawberries
3 to 4 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 to 2 tsp. salt
1 to 2 c. oleo
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. Cool Whip
1 c. nuts

Preparation

Combine strawberries and 1/4 cup of the sugar.
Mix and let stand.
Mix dry ingredients; add oleo, eggs and strawberry mixture.
Fold in Cool Whip, then nuts.
Pour into loaf pan (greased and floured).
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.
